A Visit to Harbin, China Siberian Tiger Sanctuary

SIBERIAN TIGER SANCTUARY

Watch video of us taking a bus ride through the park and visitors feeding the Tigers (Not us. We do not approve of this)

Spread over 250 acres, Harbin's Siberian Tiger Park has a population of 800 Tigers and 100 cubs are born every year. The total population of wild Siberian Tigers is estimated to be only about 550 (all in Russia's Siberian Provinces). So there is merit in the Park's breeding and conservation effort. In the past nature lovers bemoaned the cruelty of visitors paying money to buy live animals to feed to the Tigers. As well as paying for petting of and selfies with Tiger cubs. But this has been stopped.
